Conversations

It is very important than students attend the next two weeks of classes as we prepare for and do our conversations.  These are worth 150 points.  Students who do their conversation late will lose 25% of their grade for the conversation regardless of circumstances. If someone from your group is not present, you will have to decide whether to lose that 25% or to continue without him/her. Make sure all materials are accessible to all participants.

Chapter 4 Getting Prepared Due Tuesday

Just a reminder that you will be turning in your Getting Prepared (including your concepts) on Tuesday, March 25th. In case you've forgotten, we did parts of this in class, so EVERYONE should have something to turn in.

Just a reminder, the work you get back from in class today is NOT included in your grade total. So if you redid anything or turned in anything late, you can ADD those points to your total.

Extra credit

For extra credit, you may write a SUMMARY of an article that you read about digital culture. You are not doing a response to a summary, like we do at the beginning of class, but the summary itself.

The article must be less than one year old.

Must follow format of a summary

Must include MLA citation information

worth: 5 points (you may do four)

I will be giving out midterm grades and explaining them on Thursday. It is imperative that you show up for that.
